Position Summary

Scalable OS is looking for a Sr. Technical Recruiter to join our team and help grow our IT Outsourcing services.

This role will be in charge of sourcing, screening and providing a shortlist of highly qualified IT candidates for our different client partners.  Strong account management experience, negotiation skills and high level of self-management will be ideal for this position.

Ultimately, this role will be crucial in growing the talent pipeline and help hiring managers make decisions in scaling up their workforce.

Essential Functions

  • Write and post technical job descriptions

  • Source potential candidates on online niche platforms

  • Perform pre-screening calls to analyze applicants’ abilities

  • Interview candidates combining various methods (e.g., structured interviews, technical assessments, and behavioral questions)

  • Coordinate with client partners to forecast department goals and hiring needs

  • Craft and send personalized recruiting emails with current job openings to passive candidates

  • Participate in tech conferences and meetups to network with IT professionals

  • Extend job offers and handle salary negotiations

  • Onboard new hires

  • Promote company’s reputation as a great place to work

  • Conduct job and task analyses to document job duties and requirements

  • Keep up to date with new technological trends and products

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • At least 8 years working experience coming from Headhunting, IT or Tech Outsourcing companies

  • Proven track record in hiring technical positions either as a corporate recruiter or a headhunter

  • Willing to work in different shifts to accommodate client requests

  • Must have high level of initiative and self-discipline and can function well under pressure

  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles

  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases

  • Solid knowledge of sourcing techniques (e.g. social media recruiting and Boolean search)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Solid understanding of HR practices and labor laws

  • Must be willing and capable to work independently (work-from-home)

Experience and Education

A 4-year degree in a related field and 8 years in recruitment experience in headhunting, IT or technical outsourcing with progressive responsibility. Relevant experience may be substituted for the education requirement.
